Essences Inn Marianos
About this property
One of the 4-star hotels with the best location in Fátima, the Hotel Essence Inn Marianos is the result of the refurbishment of two hotels (Marianos Hotel and São Paulo boarding house) owned by the Congregation of Marian Fathers. The hotel's design was inspired by the essences, which are revealed over the different floors:Fruity EssenceFloral EssenceNatural EssenceWoody EssenceOriental EssenceSpirituality & Inclusion interact and complement each other and are present throughout the hotel: In the candle store, studio and workshop, the purpose of which is to explore this symbolic element of Catholic culture, in an approach more open and appealing to the spiritual dimension; In the hotel's identity, décor and overall atmosphere; In our chapel, a port of call for reflection; And last but not least, in the greater number of areas accessible to everyone, regardless of their physical limitations.

The rooms were so comfortable, the bathrooms fabulous, and I can't say goodbye to that shower, it was the best ever. The buffet food was amazing with loads of choice, and the staff were wonderful and couldn't do enough for you. People around the hotel and in the area were the nicest and most helpful you could find.

The food was poor and there wasn't much variety. They didn't clean the room properly or take out the trash during our stay, so it kept piling up. We also had very bad service from a rude, middle aged male receptionist. To me, this isn't a 4 star hotel, or even a 3 star one.

A quiet, really nice place to stay while you're in the city of the Holy Lady Fatima.

We enjoyed the balcony and comfortable bed in this clean, nicely decorated hotel. There was no tub, but the walk-in shower had great water pressure. Breakfast was very good, with a hot table, and the shrine, restaurants, and shops are only a few minutes away on foot. We didn't try the dinner buffet, but heard it was very good.

Everything was clean, bright, quiet, and available, and the WiFi always worked well. Housekeeping kept the room spotless each day. The buffet had good variety, and the chapel was beautiful and peaceful. The staff were efficient, helpful, and cheerful. It was my first time in Fátima, and this is the only place I'll stay on future pilgrimages.
