Vila Castelo Parque

We booked directly with the accommodation after a colleague recommended it. Our Premier No36 was really too large for just the two of us, but it was good value and clean, with great facilities and a great location. The complex was very quiet when we visited. That’s nice for relaxing, though a few more people might have added to the atmosphere. To be fair, that’s probably down to the time of year rather than Vila Castelo. The shared areas, including the pool and bar, were always clean and tidy, and every staff member we met was friendly and helpful. I’d definitely recommend staying here in Ferragudo.

When my wife became ill, Oliver and the team at Vila Castelo Parque acted quickly and were incredibly helpful. They made us feel safe and looked after during a difficult time. It's an amazing place, and we hope to return as soon as we can.

Ferragudo was a lovely place to unwind, and we could easily get to Portimao when we wanted more activity. From our apartment, it was a quick, scenic walk into town for restaurants, bars, markets and small shops. The resort itself was quiet during our week in mid-June, and being part of a larger complex meant we could also use several pools and a bar and restaurant. The front desk staff were great about answering questions and arranging taxis. We stayed in the three-bedroom duplex penthouse, Palms #2. It had modern, high-quality fittings, a huge balcony on each level, lots of chairs, and an upstairs private plunge pool and Weber BBQ. The view was hard to beat. I'd give the place 6/5 if I could. We can't wait to come back, and we'd absolutely recommend it.

I've stayed here several times over the past seven years, and the standards have stayed impressively high. The facilities and service from the whole team are great, everything is clean, and they've even arranged for our room to be ready early.
