A warm, cozy room was waiting for us, already heated before we arrived, which made our stay really comfortable. The whole place is full of beautiful, unusual objects, and I could spend ages looking at all the details. It feels like staying in a little hotel-museum. As a creative person, I found it inspiring, and as someone who loves cats, I adored the cat houses outside and feline touches throughout. It was the first stop on our journey, and such a good one.

The panoramic pool was a highlight, especially for relaxing with those views. The scenery is stunning at any time, from morning through sunset. There’s art throughout the house, and all the carefully considered details give the place loads of character and make it feel special. We had a really great stay.

A lovely place to get away into nature in the Douro valley. The art around the house is amazing, the facilities are great, and breakfast is provided. The staff were very kind too. I’d recommend it 100% :)

A peaceful little gem out in nature. The rooms matched the photos, the place itself is beautiful, and the staff were lovely. Just right if you need some quiet.

The location is wonderfully quiet, and the staff made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed the breakfast each day. The menu stayed the same, but we appreciated having it there, especially since there aren’t any local restaurants. A genuinely pleasant stay, and I’d happily come back.
