Green Wave Hostel

This works as an affordable option when you're making last-minute plans. The shared kitchen is well equipped, and while the bathrooms are shared, room No. 3, where I stayed, had its own. We only got one blanket for four people 🤣. There’s no air conditioning, and parking is on the street. For basics, there was only hand soap and about one and a half rolls of toilet paper, though the towels were good. Would I recommend it? Only to a couple who just needs somewhere to sleep. Otherwise, I’d look at other places.

The bed was comfortable and the room had heating, but I noticed in the morning that there was no hair dryer, even though the booking site advertised one. Half of the glass window wouldn’t close. Nobody was there for checkout, so I had to walk quite a way to get change for the payment. There are plenty of hotels and restaurants nearby, but no cafés, bakeries, or pastry shops. I ended up getting change at another hotel’s reception.

Mariana was so welcoming and attentive, and made us feel at ease right away. The house was clean and in good shape, with fresh bed linen and bathroom linens. The kitchen was ready to use and well equipped. The beach is very close, as are the bars and restaurants. We had no complaints, it was a lovely stay. We’ll be back. Catarina e Marco

We spent New Year’s Eve here and left wanting to come back. The hostel is warm and nicely decorated, with an equipped kitchen, reasonable prices, a friendly reception, and a great location. Thanks, Mariana!
