The pool and garden gave us plenty of room to work out, do yoga, have breakfast outside, or just enjoy the Portuguese sun. My husband and I spent three wonderful weeks working remotely at Silvana’s guest house. It’s a beautiful, spacious home, planned with a lot of care and love, and easy to live, work, and relax in. Everything we needed was there, and all the little details made us feel comfortable and looked after. Silvana was kind and warm, and always kept in touch. We’re grateful we got to meet her and spend three unforgettable weeks resting body and soul. Thank you so much, Silvana, for your hospitality, kindness, and attention to detail. A lovely spot to get away from the city and relax. The owners were friendly and knew their stuff, and even gave us a bottle of wine when we arrived. Breakfast was delicious, plentiful, and had a different selection each day. Our room was clean and modern, but got quite hot without a fan or AC. It was also dark because there was no ceiling light, and a small fridge would be handy for cold drinks by the pool. The bathroom door was clear glass, so you always had a great view of the toilet, for better or worse. There wasn’t an ocean view during our stay, though the owner said the trees are trimmed every six or seven years and then the sea becomes visible.

The breakfast and swimming pool were lovely, and the beds were finally a good fit for two lads who are 6ft2 and 220 pounds 😂✌️ Staying with the owners, Gerwin & Silvana, felt like being at home from arrival right through to leaving. Thanks again, P+A.

We loved the hosts, who went out of their way to make us comfortable. The place felt light and airy, with tasteful furnishings, fresh linens, and a great mattress. We got excellent value, and the location was a refreshing change from the centre. It had a countryside feel, yet town and the beach were only minutes away.

We felt so comfortable here and will be back soon. It was the nicest place and the best hosts we’ve found in Portugal. The house has been completely refurbished, with lovely decor, incredible views, and delicious breakfast. Thank you so much!
