Apartamentos Ferreiros

Right in the old town, just a short walk from the cathedral, these modern, luxurious apartments were a great find. Check-in went smoothly. The entrance is up the lane shown in the picture, where there are tables and chairs for the cafe across the way.

The beds were hard, but everything else was good.

We were right among Funchal’s lovely streets, shops, restaurants, and squares, with plenty to see just down the stairs. The apartment was spotless and very comfortable, with a large, clean bathroom, everything we needed, and rooms that were well soundproofed. There was a small technical problem, but one call to Mrs. Duarte sorted it quickly, and we were immediately moved to an apartment in perfect working order. Mrs. Duarte also managed our reservation excellently from the start. I easily chose the apartment on the website, payment felt secure, and we got all the location details. Parking was less than a five-minute walk away, and she sent directions to the lot by link. The whole process was handled professionally over WhatsApp. I’d happily recommend staying here to Italians visiting Funchal or stopping in the city. You’ll be thrilled.
