The pool isn't available to tenants, and there aren't any amenities, not even a laundry detergent pod. The neighbors are awful too: just having a conversation on the terrace can bring some friendly men in uniform to your door. The decor looks straight out of the Middle Ages, as if electricity is a mystery here. I'd avoid booking if possible; there are much better places in Funchal and nearby.

The upstairs neighbor was awful and called the police, even though my friends and I weren't playing music. The apartment has old-fashioned decor and no electrical outlets. Avoid this place.

Don't book if you don't want the police showing up at night for disturbing the peace just because you're talking on the terrace. The neighbor is disgusting.

The house is roomy, but for the 4,000 euros it cost us, it really needs more equipment. There was only one knife for our group of 11, and the first-aid kit, which he's legally required to have, had just one band-aid. Bruno doesn't seem to care. Only one of the four bedrooms has air conditioning, and with temperatures of 29 degrees Celsius and all that humidity, the other three were unbearably hot. Mr. Bruno, please buy some knives and invest a bit more in the house.
