I'm not judging the room itself. The trouble was getting in, and the welcome was poor, with no one available to help. Two days before we left, I got a text full of directions: drive-through, building A, intercom code, fourth floor, and garage code for the key pickup. But the photo showed the intercom, with no explanation of how to open the building. Check-in was from 3:00 PM, and my polite, respectful son arrived at 5:28 PM only to wait outside the apartment because there were no keys in the garage. I contacted my agency, which called the property. Then a WhatsApp message came from a different number, along with a video saying the apartment was actually in the next building, B, on the fifth floor, not building A. The guys finally got inside at 6:15 PM, after almost an hour of pointless waiting. Inside, the room smelled strongly of freshly cooked food, as if the previous guests had been running a restaurant until they left at 3:00 PM. We'd been traveling since 5:00 AM from Rome, so you can imagine we had basic needs to take care of. At 7:00 PM, once we finally had the garage keys, there was already a hefty fine on the rear window of the car, issued at 6:55 PM. A word of advice: don't expect kindness, help, or empathy from these "Portuguese" people. They don't seem to care or admit mistakes. Even something simple like a bottle of water in the fridge or a couple of coffee machine capsules would have helped, even just as samples to try before buying them at the supermarket. In Portugal, white lines with a capital M mark parking reserved for residents. There were no spaces when I arrived, and the garage keys weren't in the box either. I had to split myself in two, with one of me searching for the keys while the other stayed with the car, before some vile assistant could declare my rental car a non-resident.

We stayed from May 18 to 31, and I was pleasantly surprised that they offered to clean halfway through our stay. The apartment was well kept, had everything needed for daily life and cooking, and the balcony had a lovely view. The location was very convenient, with shops and cafes nearby, and the underground parking was handy. The photos match reality, and whenever we had a question, it was easy to get in touch and they answered quickly. I definitely recommend it.
