We’ve been here a month and are very impressed with the service. The staff are helpful, and they’ve taken us grocery shopping once a week. Our apartment is clean and stocked with dishes, towels, blankets, and more. Angelo put together suggestions for places to see on both the east and west sides of the island. Norberto was our personal guide and drove us all over. We were impressed by both the island and the personal attention he gave us. He was fun, professional, and very informative. I highly recommend Living Funchal. You won’t regret staying here.

The terrace has an amazing view, and the apartment is spacious, in very good condition, and super clean. It’s well equipped, with a good location not far from the city center. We were a couple with a baby. Check-in was easy overall, and Marcia was kind and shared some tips. There’s also a dedicated iPhone app with useful information on supermarkets and island activities. The bed could definitely be better, and the sheets were noisy enough that any movement seemed likely to wake the other person. We also waited 20 minutes for the keys after calling to say we’d arrived, since there’s no 24/7 reception. Next time we’ll let them know when we leave the airport.

We were really pleased with our stay. The apartment was complete, very clean, and nicely furnished, with literally everything we needed. Staff were friendly and super helpful, and check-in and check-out were very flexible.

We had a lovely time in Funchal. The apartment is well equipped, with a washing machine, dishwasher, oven, coffee machine, and more. It also has a great terrace view, and there’s a cleaning service. The sea is a 10-15 minute walk away. A free pool is close by, and there’s a gym nearby for an extra charge. The price seemed okay, though it could or should be lower. Supermarkets aren’t very close, and because the apartment is up a hill, you need to take a taxi home with your groceries. I’d recommend it to most tourists travelling with family.
