We were able to sleep fine even while the restaurant was open, and it shut every night at 10pm, despite what some people say about noise. The room suited us perfectly, with a kitchenette, clean bathroom, and plenty of windows. It's a great base for seeing as much of Madeira as possible, and the location is perfect. The restaurant downstairs was super delicious. recommend!

For a budget traveler, this is a very good deal. Right in the city center, with the best location I could ask for.

We found it quiet at night, and the apartments are good. The location is central too.

A pleasant little studio downtown, near the port and bus stop.

The noise was hard to ignore: bars and restaurants downstairs brought their garbage, tables, and chairs in and out late at night and early in the morning. The place isn't really an apartment, just a room with an old kitchenette tucked into a closet, and communication was poor. They texted that there was a coffee maker, but when I asked which model, nobody replied. After several attempts to reach them, they finally admitted they'd made a mistake and there wasn't one. The room was uncomfortable, with very little cutlery or crockery, and what was there didn't match. There were barely two glasses. The frying pan was unusable because its Teflon coating was badly scratched and damaged. There are so many vacation rentals in Madeira that you can look elsewhere and find a better one.
