Sweet Home Madeira E by Atlantic Holiday

That rooster starts screaming around 4-5am, which was a rough way to wake up. The apartment has potential, especially apartment C, but the start of the stay was disappointing: there were dead insects and ants in the room, and a towel used to remove a moth had been left as it was. I had to wash the towels and clean the bathroom and floors myself. I told the host, who said they'd look into it, but the ants were still there at the end of my stay. Communication was hard too. My early check-in request wasn't acknowledged on the agreed day, and several other messages went unanswered or took repeated follow-ups.
