The Reserve - The Leading Hotels of the World - Savoy Signature

The suite was modern, exceptionally clean and had everything we needed. We also really appreciated the vegetarian and vegan meals. The staff remembered that we don't like mushrooms and made special dishes for us on several dinners. What made The Reserve especially memorable was the personal attention from the team. They looked after our needs in a way that went beyond other luxury hotels we've visited, and we felt like people rather than room numbers. Special thanks to Zita for arranging medical help at the hotel after I picked up a minor injury during an outdoor activity. It saved us a lot of hassle on an otherwise perfect Madeira vacation.

After our hikes, having access to the spa was wonderful, and the staff were so accommodating and helpful. Our living room had panoramic ocean views, too. We had an amazing time at the reserve. We've stayed at plenty of five-star hotels, and this was one of the best. I'd definitely recommend it and plan to come back for NYE. Thanks again!

Housekeeping deserves special mention: our room was cleaned impeccably every day and left perfectly prepared. The attention to detail, cleanliness and quick service went beyond what I expected. From arrival, we were greeted warmly and the atmosphere felt both professional and friendly. The staff were consistently attentive and courteous, always smiling and making me feel at home. The hotel itself is elegant and comfortable, with high-quality amenities kept in good condition. It was a perfect stay, and I'm already looking forward to returning.

We celebrated our anniversary here in March 2025 and had an incredible time. As a gay couple, we felt welcome, and because it was the off-season the hotel was a little empty, which we enjoyed. We mostly had the enormous spa to ourselves, and it was fun exploring all its unusual features. The staff went above and beyond every day, and I think we got extra attention to make sure everything was perfect. Our room had an excellent bed, everything we expected and more, and little treats left for us each day. It was great having an ocean view from our private balcony over morning coffee, and room service was good. The rooftop pool had panoramic views. Finding the way there was a little tricky, but we also liked strolling down to the sea. The hotel owns the smaller hotel in front of it. Breakfast was luxurious, with fresh-squeezed juice. Dinner service felt special, there were so many wines, and Juan was a particularly memorable waiter. Staff gave us great advice for exploring the whole island, and taught us how to pronounce words. The highlight was our last dinner: they hired a violinist to play while we watched the sunset. It was so romantic, and I'll never forget it. We'd absolutely stay again. We didn't want to leave.
