Breakfast on the balcony was a highlight, especially watching the cruise ships arrive each morning. The apartment is in a quiet cul-de-sac and well placed for picking up a car and exploring the island without driving far into Funchal. The centre is about a 20-minute walk away. We really enjoyed our stay.

After a full day of hiking, coming back to the fantastic view was especially nice. The apartment was clean too, and I had such a great stay here last year.

We booked through Booking.com and paid the full amount, but the owner wouldn't give us the complete address. Then he cancelled the reservation without telling us, left us waiting in the rain, and blocked our number. The staff were very rude. I wouldn't recommend this place.
