Hotel Samasa Fundao

It's a comfortable, clean little hotel and quite inexpensive. Breakfast could be improved, though I'm not complaining at this price. If you're booking a room, call or email the hotel directly to help protect them from the steep fees charged by online booking platforms.

There are shops nearby and the location is convenient. I generally liked the hotel, though WiFi in room 401 was troublesome, so bear that in mind if you need to work remotely. Laundry service is expensive.

I was here for over a month, and it was worth the stay. The staff were very supportive, breakfast was good, and I still remember playing snooker. One issue: the room air conditioning didn't work properly, which could be a problem in summer.

For the price, it was an okay stay. Breakfast was underwhelming, but fair enough at this rate. The room was mostly tidy and clean, though there was sticky residue on the taps, and the glasses were dirty despite being wrapped in plastic and presumably put out fresh. Parking is very limited, just four small roadside spaces at the front. The staff seemed annoyed to be there, but I suppose everyone has those days.
