We stayed six days in April at Casa Senhora do Rosario and loved it. It's a spacious townhouse in a historic part of Furnas, close to everything, including a well-stocked supermarket, restaurants, and Poça da Dona Beija thermal bath. The private courtyard was a nice bonus. Inside, there are two matching bedrooms with large beds, a lounge area by the fireplace, a kitchen, and a dining room. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we appreciated the little bar with port and gin, plus ice already in the freezer after our 14-hour trip. The bedrooms face the street, so you can hear cars, as some reviews mention. But the road is very quiet at night, with hardly any traffic, and we slept well. The beds, pillows, and blankets were very comfortable, and we loved the stylish bedroom textiles. Communication was great throughout. We accidentally left our key inside once, and they drove over with the spare, which we really appreciated. Sorry for the extra trip! We'd choose this place again.
