Casa De Sao Francisco De Cha

We had a lovely family weekend and all enjoyed our stay. The house was very welcoming, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed. It’s a picturesque rustic place that reminded us of our grandparents’ home, and we were very comfortable there. The owner, D.Adelia, is warm and easy to communicate with. The hosts were always ready to help, either in person or from a distance, and support was excellent. The place is clean, quiet, and easy to find, with lovely views in several directions. The amenities listed were available, and there are common areas, with a full apartment option if available and paid for. A cafe and restaurant are less than a three-minute walk away, while parking is about 200 metres away. Excellent quality, comfort, and friendliness. Five stars, recommended, and I’d return when the chance comes.

This is a lovely, well-kept and very clean house, with a beautiful living room. The four-bedroom villa has an independent ground floor. The small village is stress-free, and its restaurant serves amazing food. The chafana was some of the best I’ve ever eaten. Candal, about 30 kilometres away, is worth visiting. A couple of drawbacks: the bedrooms don’t have TVs, the kitchen is small, and breakfast is poor. The owner isn’t on site, and sometimes things get a little mixed up, so be aware.

We stayed in the T1. The welcome was five-star, and it’s a cosy place with the essentials. The central heating was excellent in the cold. My only complaint is the shower, which had very little pressure and barely any flow, even though the water was always really, really hot.
