The accommodation was clean and comfortable, and having a big garden pool was a real bonus on hot days. Red and Tequila were around to say hello too, if you like dogs. It’s a lovely setting. The owner is very friendly, makes sure your stay goes smoothly, and knows plenty about things to do locally. I enjoyed my stay, and so did my friends.

Manuela was a wonderful host, always kind and ready with advice for trips to Serra da Estrela. She did everything she could to make our stay pleasant. Muito obrigado, we’ll be back soon. It’s a fantastic place for a few nights or longer, with great accommodation, clean rooms, and a large pool for swimming and relaxing.

A lovely hostess, fresh breakfast, and beautiful views. It’s a nice, quiet spot in the mountains.

The food left for us was a lovely touch: fresh bread, delicious cheese, coffee, milk, and a homemade apple tart that was simply divine. The facilities were welcoming, well cared for, and full of charm. We had a wonderful stay at the local accommodation Terra Mista in Melo (Gouveia). From our first contact, D. Manuela was friendly, attentive, and ready to help, and made us feel genuinely welcome. We highly recommend it if you’re looking for peace, comfort, and sincere hospitality. We’d definitely choose it again for a visit to Serra da Estrela.

The rooms are spacious and everything was very clean. D. Manuela was so kind and gave us a delicious apple tart, cheese, and liqueur. It’s a very pleasant house with a pool. I highly recommend it and would stay again whenever I need accommodation in Serra da Estrela.
