Once inside, the rooms were spacious, comfortable, and very clean, though a bit dated. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice, and the staff were friendly and explained everything. The service was very good and it was good value for money. The location is superb, right in the center. Getting there left a terrible first impression, though: the facade is hideous, the entrance is odd, and the road into the garage is tricky. Still, recommended.

The room was spacious, with a fantastic balcony, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. After quite an adventure driving into the parking lot and finding the right elevator, we met two delightful hostesses. They gave us great tips on food, sightseeing, and getting back on the road. And thanks for realizing that two separate beds would have made our night rather dull.

A truly awful, seedy, run-down hotel. We booked two nights for work, but after leaving with our luggage and equipment on the second day because we didn’t trust the hotel’s security, we came back that evening to find our room had been sublet. We were made to leave at 11 pm and find somewhere else to stay, and they gave us trouble getting a refund. The service was appalling in every way. I would NEVER recommend it.

The only good things were the location and that we kept our sense of humor. This was a run-down hotel with a 70s and 80s Spanish style, and furnishings that seem to have stayed there ever since. The bedding might have been exceptional for the mid-century, and there was a “magnificent” built-in radio. For my 7-year-old son, the mattress felt like “concrete and the cover of scrap metal.” The television and telephone were no better. Poor soundproofing, inadequate toilet fixtures, bad drainage, a poor view, and noise until 2 a.m. made for a terrible stay. We didn’t try breakfast because we were wary of what we might find.
