We booked through Agoda and arrived at the address to find construction next door and the door at number 23 locked. We knocked and pressed the clearly broken microphone button for about ten minutes, but nobody answered; we could only hear a dog barking. With no other option, we left and went to an expensive hotel, then reported what happened to Agoda. That night, Agoda sent a reminder saying the hostel FA insists on charging us. What the hell.

The woman who welcomed us was really lovely, and the old mansion has what you need for a night. Our room was decent, though there was a huge leak. We only stayed one night. The location is great, but finding a parking space is hard. We could sometimes hear people walking and chatting on the sidewalk outside our street-level room. We also heard the person upstairs, who walked so heavily on the wooden floor it felt like an elephant was overhead.
