The garden made it easy to relax and enjoy Faial's peaceful feel. We were welcomed so warmly by the owners and all the staff, who were kind and helpful from the start. Breakfast was a real highlight, with lots of fresh homemade food. I especially loved the cakes and jams, and the local cheese was a lovely taste of the Azores. You can tell a lot of care goes into the morning meal. We couldn't have asked for a better stay at Quinta das Buganvílias in Faial, Azores, and would highly recommend it.

That garden is the best part. There's a tunnel under an airplane ramp that takes you down to the sea, a great place to snorkel when the water is calm. The planes aren't that loud, and it's fun to watch a few take off and land. The garden itself is lovely to explore, the service is fantastic, and the place feels like paradise. Very cozy.

You can walk to the airport from here, and the place is lovely, quiet, and clean. Our AC was quiet and kept the room cool at night. There's a big garden and a secret tunnel leading to the sea. Friendly staff, a sweet dog, and a delicious breakfast with a view.

The homemade, natural breakfast with local products was great, and the staff were so welcoming. It's well located and lovely for being close to nature and the Azorean people, and getting some fresh air? :) The garden and the path through the tunnel to the sea are beautiful. Such a pleasant welcome, great place!
