The apartment had a good size and location, but I wouldn’t recommend staying there until the repairs are done. We paid for air conditioning, but the units in the main living area and bedroom were broken, with 87 degrees outside. The listing said parking was available, but it meant street parking, and finding a spot was difficult. The pool table was there, though its sticks were broken, and several other things in the unit needed fixing. I messaged the owner and got no reply. I’ll be reporting the apartment to Booking.com.

There were so many problems. The super king mattress was disgustingly stained, apparently with sweat and blood, and the lounge sofas were badly marked too. The Wi-Fi didn’t work, nor did the heating and air conditioning remotes. A broken fridge shelf was left in a cupboard, a socket was coming out of the wall with wires exposed, and there weren’t enough blankets. That’s just a few of the bad points. It wasn’t worth even one star.

The pool was warm and luxurious, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The harbour is only five minutes away, with the center about ten minutes on foot. It was an amazing complex to stay in, and I’d come back again and again. 10/10! I did wonder what happened to the gym, since there used to be more there.

We’ve been coming to this fabulous complex for ten years, usually twice a year. The bus and rail station are both within walking distance. Lagos is the jewel in the Algarve’s crown, in my opinion, with endless places to eat, great shops, and a huge fish market if you want to cook for yourself.

This place is amazing, honestly, I’d give it 10 stars if I could. It’s close to everything but still in a relaxing part of Lagos city center. You have to see it for yourself 😍😍
