The hostess has thought of all the little details, and you can feel the care in the place. The linens and pillows were perfect, and we loved starting the day with fresh croissants and tasty coffee. There’s a lovely pool and terrace on the grounds. It was so quiet and peaceful, yet only a five-minute walk to the city and a large store. Everything was perfect for us. This is one of the best places I’ve had the chance to stay.

The pool is amazing, and it’s a nice place to relax. It’s a very calm spot in the countryside, just five minutes from the city center. The rooms are clean, though ours had spider webs and could have been better. Breakfast was ok.

The quiet garden had Shaggy Mane mushrooms and at least two bird species that are nearly endemic there: Azure-winged Magpie (Cyanopica cooki) and Spottles Starlings (Sturnus unicolor). The place is cosy and comfortable, with a kitchen. At around 45 usd, the price/quality ratio seemed unbelievably cheap, so I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

You’ll need a car, even though Lagos is very close. Check-in was seamless. The room was tasteful and spotless, and everything from the furniture to the shower looked brand new. It made us feel very comfortable.

The place is new and conveniently located, but the details were neglected and that made the stay less pleasant. There was no shampoo, soap or hairdryer, and some things were broken, including the WC extrator fan and the bathroom tap. Nobody seemed to be looking after the house or the guests, which gave it a careless feel. Breakfast was also quite sparse and basic, made with cheap products. It’s pricey, too. We knew it wasn’t a hotel, but the price felt like it was. I’d look for somewhere better.
