We had a large, clean room, and the host even left us some drinks for free. There was a parking space at the entrance, though we usually parked on the street. The host also suggested restaurants and beaches, and the beach was about a 10-minute drive away. You could pick up things for the beach from the apartment, too. Breakfast was great, with something available to grab throughout the day. The place felt really cozy. I’d come back for sure.

We came as two sisters, but the suite was the only room available when we booked, and we were amazed by how much space it had. The bed was huge, and there was a sofa, TV, desk, and a closet with plenty of room. The bathroom was large, clean, and had enough towels. We also had direct access to the shared garden, with a hammock, benches, and a spot to eat. The customer service was so kind. We got advice about things to do across the Algarve and help figuring out how everything worked at the hotel. If you’ve forgotten something, you can borrow all sorts of things, including beach towels, shampoo, and conditioner. There’s an Aldi nearby, too. The hotel is a little north of town rather than in the center. I liked how quiet it was, and the city center was still quick to reach by car or on foot. It was such a comfortable, homey stay, and I’d happily return when I’m in the Algarve.

It felt like being at home, and I’d definitely stay here again if we return to Lagos. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and have a private bathroom and a fridge with some free drinks. Nadia was kind and always around when we needed help. The kitchen is open for guests and stocked with fresh fruit, tea, coffee, eggs, ham, and cheese. There are loads of toiletries to use if you’ve forgotten yours, as well as beach gear like snorkels and umbrellas. You can also borrow plenty of books, including travel guides. There’s even a shared lounge for hanging out and playing video games. The Marina is a 13-minute walk away, and the grocery store is three minutes away. I highly recommend staying here. It’s better than a B & B.

It’s up a fairly steep hill, which is worth knowing, though it does help work off the delicious Portuguese food. The breakfast was really nice, with lots of options, and the lounge was inviting. We had a spacious room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a warm welcome. They responded to questions quickly and were very helpful. I’ll stay here again if I come back to Lagos.

The main part of Lagos is a bit of a walk away, but it’s an easy drive if you prefer, and the quiet nights are a plus. There was enough parking nearby, and having a grocery store a short walk away was a big help. The manager was personable and shared great local tips and hidden spots. Prices were reasonable, and the accommodations were clean and excellent. Breakfast options were nice, too. They also had extras available, like shampoo, beach towels, and beach toys. We’d definitely stay again.
