Guest House Enseada

Our first-floor room with its little balcony was fantastic, and the breakfast was good too. The house has four rooms, a living room, two full bathrooms and one extra bathroom, plus a small patio. It’s nicely decorated, clean, and had a lovely smell. Ellie, Chris’s wife, is a designer with great taste. Everything in central Lagos is walkable from here. There’s no air conditioning, but a large, powerful fan is provided; we didn’t end up needing it. Chris was a perfect host, always kind and ready with suggestions for beaches, restaurants, and places to visit. We had a great stay and would recommend Enseada to anyone.

The location made it easy to walk to everything we needed, and the guesthouse was stylish, very clean, and pleasantly quiet with just three rooms. Breakfast in the courtyard was nice, and the hosts checked in, offered useful suggestions, and were available if we needed anything. There was a reservation mix-up and the room was double-booked for one night, but Ellie tried to help me find somewhere else and followed up more than once to make sure I had a place. Great spot for the price, and I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The rooms are lovely, decorated with so much care, and the whole guesthouse feels welcoming. Elli and Chris were especially lovely. A fantastic place to stay, highly recommended.
