Iberostar Selection Lagos Algarve

Our top-floor room had an amazing ocean view, and the beautiful beach below was only a short, peaceful walk away. It wasn't crowded at all and felt very romantic. The breakfast buffet had lots of choice and was really good. We had a great stay at the Iberostar in the Algarve. There were a few things that didn't match the hotel's five-star feel. The sixth-floor carpet looked old and worn. In the mornings, the AC blew warm air, so we had to open the balcony door for a breeze. The room phone didn't work, and despite telling the front desk, nobody came to fix it. The location is perfect and the hotel is beautiful, but service could be more attentive and the rooms need some updates.

The pool area was beautiful, the food was incredible, and the spa massages were deeply relaxing. The atmosphere felt like home, more than just a holiday. My fiancé and I had the perfect setting for our proposal at Iberostar Hotel, Lagos, and the team made us feel special from the start. A huge thank you to Pablo and everyone who went above and beyond to plan the proposal and handle every detail with such care. We stayed for a week in late October and really liked our well-equipped room. We were on the same floor as reception and the bar, so we could hear the evening program, but it finished reasonably early and wasn't a problem. The hotel is outside Lagos in a very quiet area, with a large, beautiful beach just across a small road, a 3-5 minute walk away. It's about 10 minutes by car to Lagos, and the bus goes there once an hour, so the location works well if you want somewhere calmer. The staff were fantastic, attentive, and friendly. Special thanks to Leonor and the Spa team for their great massages. There's a private area with a Jacuzzi, sauna, and steam bath you can book for an hour. We had half board, and both breakfast and dinner were great quality, with a fresh selection of meat and fish each day. We really recommend the hotel.

Being close to the beach and well placed for getting around Lagos made this stay especially enjoyable. The surroundings were lovely, and there was plenty to choose from at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The entertainment crew kept the mood friendly and gave us lots to do. We had a fantastic time and would gladly return to Iberostar Selection Lagos Algarve. 🌟🌴
