Lagos Charming Villas

The garden and jacuzzi were nice, and the small room was clean. It's a handy base if you've rented a car, with good beaches nearby. The kitchen could use a few more things. We were on the ground floor beside it, and noise from other guests eating at 1am or 6am carried into our room. The cat also lives inside the house, but that wasn't mentioned when we booked. I'm allergic, so we had to keep stopping it from coming into our room. It meowed at our door from 6am, which wasn't fun. The stay was okay overall.

Check-in was really pleasant, and the staff were nice, though payment had to be in cash. The room was good for the price, and I liked the small, cute place, even though I only stayed one night. A few things were awkward: the shower water barely warmed up after a long wait, and the toilet flush was hard to press and didn't work well. The kitchen had no knives, just a microwave and no oven. Other guests were pretty loud outside my room, but quiet hours only started after 23:30, and I understood people live there too. For a night or two, it works well.

The apartment itself was lovely, with a great room, and it was very well equipped. Staff were helpful too. We had expected one villa, rather than a villa split into separate apartments. The little hot tub is warmed only by the sun, so it might not be warm enough in April. Remember to have your phone charged when you arrive, since you need to call to get the key.

A great neighborhood and about a 15-minute walk to the beach. This is a lovely little hotel villa, with a large room, private bathroom, and shared kitchen. There are three rooms as well as a big apartment upstairs.
