LC's Guesthouse

It’s a short walk uphill from the main town, near the cemetery, but well worth the effort for such great accommodation. Everything felt carefully planned and well finished. The beds were comfortable, there was excellent bedroom storage, and the bathroom was good. We shared a very well equipped kitchen. When the owner found out my birthday was the next day, they left a little box of chocolates on my bed. Such thoughtful attention to detail. An extra pillow would be a useful small improvement. Thanks again.

We arrived at 20:59 after delayed flights and buses, and had even warned the owner ahead of time, but they still refused to let us check in. The refusal was very unfriendly, leaving us stranded in a new city at night after a long trip. That’s not the hospitality I’d expect. Don’t book here if your plans could change, you might arrive late, or you need basic flexibility and understanding. One star.

Paulo was a charming host, and the place was impeccably clean. The bedding and towels smelled lovely, and our room had a private bathroom. The shared kitchen was always clean, had everything needed for cooking, and had two refrigerators. The center is five minutes away, but the beaches are quite far, and you have to walk everywhere because parking isn’t possible. Still, the stay was unbeatable, and I’d certainly come back.

Our flight was delayed, so we were an hour late for check-in, though we’d told the owner. They refused to check us in and left us out on the street. The owner's communication was very rude. I wouldn’t recommend this place, there are plenty of better options in Lagos.
