It was a welcoming place to stay. We slept comfortably, and the room had nice blinds that kept it dark. Our room also had good AC.

MONEY LOST There was so much stuff in the room that it felt cramped. Something upsetting happened when we left our wallets there to go to breakfast. When we came back to check out, we found money missing from one of them. We told the owner afterward, and before we'd accused anyone, they immediately brought up the housekeeping staff. As the Romans say, “Excusatio non petita, accusatio manifesta.” We're not accusing anybody. Still, we think it's important to mention what happened in case the same thing happens to someone else.

The room was clean, the bed was huge and really comfortable, and the hotel was quiet. The staff were so friendly. We enjoyed our short stay at Merry’s Hotel and would recommend it. Thanks for a lovely visit.

Merry was such a nice host, and because of covid she left breakfast outside our room. We stayed three nights at Merrys House and would happily come back. Our room was spacious, clean, and nicely furnished. The location deserves six stars. We were always close to everything and could easily pop back to change. I'd recommend booking directly with her.

Maria was so open, friendly, and helpful with restaurant suggestions and booking things to do around Lagos. Definitely try Choco Frito! The apartment was clean and roomy, and the balcony was a lovely extra. A great place right in the heart of Lagos.
