Quinta Da Ameijeira

There are plants all around the buildings, and the place feels quiet and welcoming. A really nice spot.

The garden has a lovely variety of plants, and parking right there was very convenient. We stayed in August 2023 with my teenagers, and the staff, especially Ana, were exceptionally kind. The apartments are comfortable and have everything you need for a good holiday, though they’re old. There’s no air conditioning, but the design keeps them naturally cool. Staff come by when you ask, even daily if needed. We had a very pleasant stay.

Ana and the rest of the staff were so friendly and attentive, and we really appreciated that. Our large house had four bedrooms and two full bathrooms. It was basic and old-fashioned, especially the fixtures, but everything was very clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable; the living-room sofa and armchairs weren’t. The bathrooms felt dated, and getting the shower temperature right was a bit tricky. There was enough cookware and tableware in the kitchen, and the towels and sheets were spotless. It’s up on a hill, about 10-15 minutes from the center of Lagos. We had a very good stay and would recommend it.

The pool and parking were handy, and the staff were lovely and attentive. Everything was very clean. Highly recommended!
