The common areas feel comfortable and welcoming, and nearly every night there’s an affordable, delicious dinner outing where you can join other travellers. RCS is a great fit if you want a friendly, social hostel. Marlon was especially welcoming and treated everyone like an old friend. It’s hard to find a place this homey, and it’s raised my expectations for other hostels. Ask about the nepalese restaurant too, the noodles were the best ever.

We had a small issue with our room on arrival, but the manager was kind and helpful, found us another place, and even covered the price difference. The place seemed pretty chill. If you’re young, into partying, or backpacking, it could suit you. I didn’t catch your name, but thanks again.

We arrived at RCS Hostel with a confirmation number and a 30 Euro deposit for a two-night booking. The woman at the front desk said our confirmed room was no longer available and essentially told us to leave. RCS then told the booking site we were a no-show, so I’m still trying to get my $30.00 deposit back from that third party. The service was very poor, and the whole place seemed badly managed.

Such a cool place. The guy there was really friendly and gave us great ideas for places to visit and walks to take. He even took us to a nice restaurant. I’ll definitely come back :)

The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean, and it’s close to a supermarket and local bars. The staff are incredibly friendly. Super recommend!
