T1 Marina Park Vista Mar

I’ve rented here long term. It’s quiet, with lots of nature, trees, birds, a pool, and tennis. I like it! The winter home gets so cold, but I guess that’s normal for Europe 😂🙈

The apartment was lovely and clean, and the complex looks new and feels very secure. There are several services at the entrance, and the pool area is secure for children, with a lifeguard and a nice bar and restaurant. The downside is the long uphill walk from the Marina, which would be tough with a stroller or small kids. On the plus side, a taxi ride costs only €6, if you can find one.

The shared area is great, with a pool and a restaurant by the pool, but the tennis court is poorly maintained. The place can get crowded with teenagers who rent apartments together to hang around Lagos, since it’s close to the city center and Marina. There are also different events with loud music in apartments that go on very late. The construction quality means you can hear everything from the upstairs neighbor, so it’s a nice vacation spot only if you’re aware of that.

We didn’t expect the place to be so nice and clean. The apartment had everything we needed: an oven, washing machine, microwave, toaster, and coffee machine. There are separate pools for adults and kids, plus a bar by the pool serving lunch and dinner. The food was okay, though not like a restaurant, and prices were average, for example chicken with fries was 9€, paella 15€, and sangria 13€. We didn’t meet the owner, but Luis guided us perfectly by phone. It’s calm, safe, and beautiful, and a nice place to stay with family. We’ll be back!
