Rita’s hospitality is what makes Torrinha Guesthouse stand out. She shared lots of good suggestions for food and things to do in Lagos, helped us book a dolphin watch tour, then walked us to the pier and waited to make sure we got on the right boat. She’s a Lagos native, and her pride in her hometown really comes through in the experience. Our unit had a private balcony with a beautiful view, and guests can also use the top-floor kitchen and two balconies, which give an almost 360 view of Lagos. The place was clean and fairly spacious, and the bed was pretty comfortable. It’s in a convenient spot, only a 3 minute walk from the main town and its activity, but far enough away from the nightlife noise for a good sleep. It’s an old house, so there’s no elevator and you have to carry suitcases upstairs. If that’s a concern, ground-floor suites are an option.

We’re looking forward to coming back. Rita was a caring host with great suggestions for food and activities, and the shared rooftop patio was a lovely spot for morning coffee or relaxing in the evening. Torrinha House is a fantastic stay in Lagos, with good-sized apartments close to the Old Town, beaches, restaurants, and the other main areas.

Anita was wonderful and readily available, taking care of anything I needed. The apartment was remarkably quiet despite being so close to the city, which made it a peaceful place to return to after exploring. It was immaculate and in a great location that made getting around easy. I absolutely loved my stay and highly recommend it for a visit to Lagos.

The view stretches over the Old Town toward the beach and coastline, and the top-floor kitchen has balconies on both sides. It’s a lovely way to cook with your loved ones and enjoy the light and sights, with a real home-from-home feeling in Lagos. The apartment is stunning, and I can’t recommend Torrinha House highly enough. Nico was incredibly kind, intelligent, and helpful throughout. On the first morning, I woke to a message checking that everything was okay, such a lovely surprise. Thanks, Nico and Klaus. Wishing you a wonderful winter and season ahead, with much kindness 😊🙏😊
