We were close enough to walk to the old town, but the apartment stayed quiet at night. It was spacious and clean, and the bed, though a little small, was comfortable enough. The kitchen was very basic, with no cooking condiments provided at all. There weren’t any toiletries either, not even the minimum, including shampoo and shower gel.

The place is spacious and very clean, in a peaceful part of the old town where restaurants and shops are close by. You’ll hear more seagulls than cars. A colander would be useful for cooking. Check-in and check-out are a bit unusual, but it’s a great base for exploring the western Algarve.

We were welcomed so warmly, and the house was spotless, everything in great shape. I recommend it, in a lovely area.
