We were there in cool, rainy weather, so I wish it had been warm enough to enjoy the pool. The Valley view is beautiful, the accommodations are quaint, and breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. Tea is in the room, and wine is available to buy on site. This is a beautiful Airbnb with a feel you don't get in a hotel, and it felt representative of Portugal, with lots of attention to detail. Parking is on the street rather than in the driveway, so there's a bit of a hike up a steep drive. We unloaded the car there, but the stairs to our room were challenging with larger bags for two ladies. Someone offered help at check-in, though she was a young girl and I felt bad having her carry our luggage. The large group staying above us, I think in other rooms, was noisy and playing games while we were trying to sleep. All in all, it was a lovely and very enjoyable stay, with a view to die for and one of the best spots to see the Duoro Valley. That's why I rated it five.

A very warm welcome. They do excellent work with different kinds of wine, including Port wine, and showcase the good things made in Portugal.

The location and parking are positives, as is Sr. Júlio's friendliness. On the downside, the living-room sofa bed is awful to sleep on, and the floorboards are very noisy.
