This is a nice little hotel on the way to Fatima, with everything you need. The owner, Annabella, was very friendly and suggested an excellent restaurant. Two of us had great food and wine there for 30 Euros. It’s a perfect spot to rest before the last 10 miles to Fatima.

I stayed here for a week in May 2022, when I first went to visit my then-girlfriend, and the accommodation was a pleasant surprise. Annabella is a great host who looks after the casa and keeps it clean and welcoming. It’s in a very quiet area, just a few minutes from Caranguejeira town centre. My room had a king-size bed, TV, air conditioning, and a corner washroom area with a shower, toilet, and sink. Guests can use the fully equipped kitchen to cook for themselves. Food isn’t provided, but shops are only a few minutes away. If you’re driving, you can park inside. For anyone visiting the Leiria area who wants a calm, quiet place to stay, I’d definitely recommend it.

I only passed by and didn’t stay, so I can’t say whether it’s the best place. You’d have to try it for yourself.

D. Anabela was so kind and helpful, and we could tell she did everything she could to make us comfortable. The place was clean, comfortable, and really pleasant, with everything organized and ready for a good stay. The little details deserve special mention. It was much better than we expected, and we’d come back.

Anabela was attentive and so helpful, and made our stay much nicer. The room was clean and comfortable, and there’s a fully equipped kitchen guests can use. We’d definitely stay again, and a special thanks to Anabela, she deserves another five stars!
