The apartment itself is modern and quite nice, with the basics you need. The bathroom was clean, the WiFi was very good, and I had no trouble with noise during my stay. I got the room extremely cheap. The staircase might make you expect less at first, but don't let that put you off. Moscavide may not be the best area, though it has a shabby-chic charm of its own. I'd be a little careful coming home late and would stick to the main street. It's about a ten-minute walk from Moscavide metro station on the red line, and 15-20 minutes on foot to Feira International de Lisboa.

Comfortable and cosy, with good facilities and very good value for money. It's an eight-minute walk to Moscavide metro station on the red line, which goes directly to the airport metro station in just two stops. Moscavide train station is even closer. The place is officially on Lisbon municipality's edge, but Parque das Nações is about a 20-minute walk away, with its newer-style buildings and riverside promenade. In Moscavide itself there are plenty of affordable restaurants serving typical Portuguese food. Finding a nearby parking spot can be a little tricky if you arrive by car, though it can be done.

The price is unbeatable, and the kitchen has everything you need. But there's no TV in the room, you can't get in before 4 PM, and the soundproofing is poor. The shower only gets lukewarm.

Check the replies the staff leave on Booking.com when guests post negative reviews. They insult people publicly. They called me disabled because I couldn't find the place. If that's how the owners of this seedy place, or “family guesthouse” as they call it, treat guests, it's no surprise the manners are so poor. Bad reviews are there to help a place learn, not to give it an excuse to insult people.
