The woman running the hostel was kind, but she wasn't up to the job. We weren't given a key to the front door, so every time we had to knock and face the frustrated owners. The room and bathroom were dirty and noisy. There was no soap or shampoo, and only two towels for two people. Breakfast was very poor and low quality. My partner got sick from mites, saw a doctor, and had to use creams and take pills for a week. A very bad experience.

The hosts were polite and friendly, but the stay was unpleasant. The room was small and badly cleaned, and the linen and towels weren't clean either. There was no soap or shampoo in the tiny bathroom. We weren't given a key to the front door, so every time we returned we had to knock and wait for someone to let us in. Even in our private room, we could hear everything in the house: the stairs, toilets, and people snoring in other rooms. The worst part was the mites on the bed. They gave me an allergic rash, so I had to see a doctor and get medication, an extra cost on top of already overpriced accommodation. Breakfast wasn't much, and the kitchen wasn't very clean, but it was okay. For the same price, I think you can find better accommodation in Lisbon.

I wouldn't stay here again. The place is old and needs a lot of investment, and the room, bathroom, kitchen, and rest of the property were very dirty. Worst of all, there were bugs in the room or bed. I woke up with lots of bites and had an allergic reaction after one night. Definitely avoid it, especially at that price.

It's small, but good.
