Eurostars Universal Lisboa Hotel

We were on our first honeymoon stay. The staff were nice and accommodating, including with a late checkout. The rooms were very clean and nice. It was too windy and chilly to use the pool, though the views were great, and the bar by the pool wasn't operating. The sauna was really nice, but the steam sauna was out of order, which was a bummer. It's a business-heavy hotel, with restaurants and the metro within walking distance. Staying here felt different from staying right in Alfama. Would recommend.

After my flight was cancelled, I spent a long, exhausting time at the airport and was feeling sick. Getting to Eurostars Lisbon was such a relief. The staff were genuinely caring and went out of their way to look after me, which made all the difference. The location made it easy to get around and close to everything. My room was comfortable, and the rooftop pool was a great extra once I started feeling better. A wonderful hotel with a team that really cares.

I've had absolutely wonderful stays at this upscale Eurostars hotel in May and November 2025, and I look forward to coming back on my next trip to Portugal. Antonio, the front-desk manager, stood out for his personal, kind attention, excellent service, and impeccable English. I also enjoyed meeting Aline in May, Rafael, the two Tiagos from the day and overnight shifts, Melissa, and Jayla. They were all charismatic, multilingual, knowledgeable, helpful, and genuinely respectful toward me and other guests. The hotel is in a beautiful modern area by the water and Oceanário de Lisboa. The location works well for business visitors and tourists, with Oceanário de Lisboa nearby, plus a large mall, full-size supermarket, and many restaurants a five-minute walk away. There are several 24-hour public transport options to central Lisbon and the airport. A Bolt or Uber to Humberto Delgado Airport takes about 15 minutes and costs €4-€7. Rooms are large, modern, and very clean, with some offering great water views. Breakfast is quite nice, with hot options, cold cuts, fruit, and sweets. Definitely recommend.

We used this hotel for one night between arriving by train at Lisboa Oriente and flying out the next morning. It was convenient, within walking distance of the station and about 15 minutes from the airport. Our junior suite had a separate bedroom, full bath, living room, and powder room, and plenty of space. We were on the 15th floor with a nice view. Down the hall there was a small workout room with equipment, a steam room, and a sauna. The roof deck had a nice pool and view, and there was a lobby restaurant and bar plus room service. The staff were very nice.
