We stayed in room Garça on the third and top floor, with a view of the street. It was beautiful and very clean, and the service was amazing, with lots of information and recommendations. The location couldn't be better for Belem, right by the best Pastries Cafe and the Monastery. It's very close to the President house, so it feels very safe.

Belém was a lovely base, and the place itself was quiet, clean, and full of charm. It’s right by the famous Pastéis de Belém pastry shop. The owner speaks several languages and was incredibly attentive. My top Airbnb choice in Lisbon, I’d happily recommend it.

Pedro was the highlight for us. The owner was kind, friendly, and helpful, and even shared his WhatsApp number in case we ran into trouble. From this central spot, we could walk around Belém’s sights, and being next to the famous Pastel de Balem meant I had Portuguese egg tarts for breakfast every day 😅.

We got an unsettling feeling and decided to stay somewhere else. Pedro wouldn’t send the entry codes we needed, and when we politely asked by phone, he was very rude and shouted that we had to contact him through "what's app".

We could leave our bags at the guesthouse for a few hours after checking out, which let us explore without carrying them. Pedro was kind and helpful, and waited to greet us even though we arrived a little late. The room was spacious and spotless, and the place is right beside Pastéis de Belém. Belém has an almost seaside-town feel, though it’s a bit out of central Lisbon. I’d recommend staying here if you want to be in Belém.
