Geronimo Guest House Belém

We were welcomed along with our dog by the accommodating owner, Jorge, and really enjoyed our three nights at Belem Guest House. When we chose to add a third night, he moved us to an upgraded room because our original room was already booked. The rooms were clean and well equipped, and the fenced garden gave the place a lovely home-like feel. It’s close to Belem’s attractions, with a short bus ride into central Lisbon.

Ricardo was a great help with everything, including suggestions on where to go and eat. Our room was interesting and very clean, and the property was stunning. We only got a little time in the garden, though I’d have liked more, because there’s so much to see right nearby. It was a perfect place to stay in the Belém area. I wish we’d booked a longer visit, and I’d definitely recommend staying here. Thanks for the hospitality.

Ricardo made us feel so welcome, and we’re grateful we stayed here. Our daughter left her tablet behind, and he let us know and took the time to ship it back in less than a week. The guesthouse turned our two-night stay into a lovely surprise. The room was cozy and spacious, with a view of a pretty backyard garden. The location was ideal, an easy walk from interesting sights and excellent local restaurants. There’s also a resident cat for animal lovers. The rooster’s morning calls might not suit everyone, but they added to the place’s distinctive charm. It works well for a short stop, but next time we’ll stay a whole week. Highly recommended.

Ricardo’s hospitality was outstanding, and the service was impeccable. The location is unbeatable, within walking distance of great restaurants and CCB, where we went for a concert. The beds were comfortable, the rooms well furnished, and the bathrooms huge. Two ridiculously adorable house cats will keep you company if you let them. An absolutely wonderful stay, highly recommended.
