The Wi-Fi was unusable for me, even in the common room, where my laptop had no internet connection at all. It’s also an open network, which made me feel more exposed while connecting to unfamiliar Wi-Fi. The building gave me a prison-like feeling from the moment I walked in, and although I saw the cleaner working in the morning, my room and the bathroom had a strange, unpleasant smell. I stayed only one night because I was exhausted and it was too late to go elsewhere, then paid again to move somewhere better with working Wi-Fi. The whole stay felt uncomfortable. After this, I’m sticking to places rated at least 8 on Booking and 4 on Google. The Booking score seems far too high for what I experienced. Read the other reviews before choosing this place.

We left at 5 a.m. for our flight, and the staff arranged a packed breakfast for us, which we appreciated. Our regular breakfast was basic, but that was fine, and we could eat inside or outside. We spent two nights here and arrived late without any trouble at the front desk. The room had three beds. The two lower ones could be pushed together or kept separate, and every bed had a light, plug, and USB/USB-C port, so charging phones was easy.

The bed was clean, and it was nice to be able to open the window. The breakfast was pretty plain, so on the second day we brought a few things of our own to make it more enjoyable. Eggs or tomato slices would have been welcome. The lockers didn’t work at all, so there was no way to secure our belongings and we had to hope our roommates were trustworthy. Each bed only had a USB charging port, with just one regular outlet for the whole room. The shower had a single small hook and no shelf for soap or glasses, which really annoyed me.

The people working here are FANTASTIC and SUPER nice, even though some of the other guests we met had no manners at all. The bathrooms were good, and breakfast was tasty, though there wasn’t much variety. It’s a great place for a couple of nights. I’d stay again when I’m not at the UEFA’s Women’s championship and want to explore Lisbon.
