Lisbon Family Hostel

The little garden was a lovely place to have the very good breakfast, and the hostel was quiet throughout our two nights. The bathrooms and our room were very clean, and the room was nice. Staff were polite and helpful. It’s close to the airport and easy to get to the famous sights in the city centre. I’d happily recommend Lisbon Family Hostel to families and solo travelers.

We were able to catch our airport shuttle without a hitch, and the staff were incredibly helpful. They even made breakfast available earlier than planned, which we really appreciated. Our family room had a huge double bed, bunk beds, and a big ensuite bathroom; the kids especially loved the bath. There’s also an enclosed garden with a trampoline, plus a kitchen where you can use the fridge, cooker, and microwave. We’d stay here again.

The staff were friendly and helpful during our one-night stay, but the lack of follow-up afterward was really poor. We were on a business trip and asked for an invoice. They said they’d email it, but a month later we still hadn’t received it. I sent three emails to different addresses, and my colleagues wrote too. I also called more than eight times at different times and tried Facebook, with no reply anywhere. Without communication, I can’t rate the stay well. I wouldn’t recommend this silent hostel.

Sonia at reception was friendly and really helpful. We needed an airport transfer and breakfast at 5.00am, and she arranged both quickly. Our room was an 8th beds dormitory. It was clean, and the other guests were nice and totally okay.
