We waited nearly an hour in the midday heat for an access email that never arrived, then the customer service person stopped answering my calls. I'd arrived in mid Aug 2022, and had called because we'd received no instructions to enter the building despite having paid. The only option he gave us was to pay another $20 deposit through a link he said he'd email. He was rude, talked down to me, and kept cutting me off. I still haven't received a refund. Neither bookings.com nor the property sent any follow-up or explanation. He wouldn't even confirm the email address, only saying it was the one I'd used for the booking. If he'd planned to send anything, he could have asked for another address or confirmed it. This felt like dishonest business. Booking.com should be held accountable for letting this money-grab keep operating on its site.

We paid 100 euros for one night's stay, but only received the door code two days after the stay had ended. They ask you to fill in a form before sending the code, but the form doesn't work, and their phone number redirects to a disconnected line. Police and Booking did nothing, and Booking refused a refund even though it could see our chat with the host in the app. Sadly, we hadn't checked the Google reviews beforehand, where there are lots of bad reviews. It feels like they target travelers who need somewhere for a day. Welcome to Portugal!

We paid 130 euro for one night, really just a few hours of sleep before an early flight, but couldn't get into the apartment and got no refund. We arrived around 10 pm and spent 1,5 hours trying to get inside before giving up and going straight to the airport. Customer service was no help. The problem was the extra requirements on top of the full accommodation price: an 11-page form with all our travel details, which took 30 min to fill out while standing outside, and an 80 euro deposit by credit card. We only had debit cards, so we couldn't pay it and never got the entry code. It was a terrible experience. Just avoid this place.

We gave up after spending over 3 hours on this and still couldn't get checked in. We booked less than 24 hours before we planned to arrive, but got nothing beyond the booking confirmation. At the property, we struggled to find the place, and none of the phone numbers worked. After about 50 minutes trying to get in, we left. Eventually I reached them through hotels.com. They blamed me for not filling in a form they said they'd emailed, but I never received it. Apparently it only gets sent 48 hours before arrival. When it finally came through, it was 11 pages long. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
