I paid for the whole stay two months ahead, but when we arrived someone else was in the apartment. The owner had rented it to several people for the same dates. We spent 12 hours out on the street trying to find another place, and the owner never answered our calls. From midnight until 10 a.m. we were outside; because it was a busy period, we didn’t find somewhere else until noon. I complained to the institutions, and the matter will be resolved through compensation. What makes this even worse is that the owner had put the apartment back up for rent on the booking platform while we were still outside, apparently waiting for a third person to fall into the same trap. That’s unimaginable. People who ignore the rules of hospitality for money shouldn’t be accepted. Be careful: on Booking.com, the property is listed as RENT4REST LISBON PARQUE DAS NACOES 17 FLOOR RIVER VIEW and Parque das Nacoes River view ,free wifi, and on AIRBNB it is listed as on platform - AIRBNB.
