Ali and Adnan made the stay especially pleasant. They were incredibly hospitable and ready to help, some of the friendliest hotel staff I’ve met in all my travels. The common areas were cleaned daily, and they’d also clean the room and remake the bed whenever I asked. For the price, I don’t think you’ll find a better spot right in central Lisbon. I was on the 5th floor, where the kitchen had what I needed to cook or heat food: a fridge, microwave, stove, pots and pans, kettle, and coffee machine. The building and furniture are old, and nothing is new, but it was all clean. Best budget hotel in Lisbon by far.

Step outside and you’re already in the city, and it’s only a few minutes on foot to the Metro. From there, the next beach is 20/30 minutes away. I was happy with this low-cost place since I only needed somewhere to sleep and shower. The room and bedding were clean, and the sheet, blanket, and cushion smelled fresh. Each room has one of those typical Lisbon “balcony-windows.” The staff were friendly and helpful, and the toilets and showers were cleaned every day. Temperatures were fine during the day and just right at night. You can hear traffic, people sometimes, and the little tram going down the street. It looks lovely, though it can be heard. For somewhere so central, that’s what you’d expect.

Our stay was ho-rri-ble. The room was dirty and the sheets weren’t clean, with a sort of stale smell. There was hair all over the shared bathrooms and a musty odor. This place needs some kind of hygiene inspection. The man who checked us in seemed absolutely high. I was so unhappy that I wanted to stay awake all night rather than sleep there, then go straight to the airport. I’d seen the place on booking and the reviews there didn’t look that bad, but I can’t recommend it at all.

The whole building needs renovation, especially the 5th floor. Our room there was the absolute low point, with an extremely disgusting bathroom and no sound protection from the toilet. We were there through a lastminute.de package, and the accommodation was disappointing. The administration staff were friendly and tried to help by cleaning the room. Look at the pictures and make up your own mind.
