The staff were friendly, but the hotel felt poorly run. We arrived to find no towels, and after calling down twice, waited 45 minutes for them to be brought up. Renovation work was going on, and noise woke me at 6:30am. The rooms felt cramped, and the cups in ours were broken. Breakfast was disappointing too, with a tired-looking room and only a few choices. After a certain time, there seems to be just one person working. When we called because the toilet roll hadn't been replaced, nobody could bring one up. They also replaced our soap every day, which seems wasteful. Soap is soap, and I'd rather use it up before getting a new one. I suppose you get what you pay for.

The room was small but interesting, with its own bathroom, and it was cleaned perfectly. Prices were good, and the people were very kind. The hotel is in a traditional part of Lisboa, with restaurants, supermarkets, and transport close by. A good place to book.

The rooms were clean, and the bathrooms were nice. Reception is open around the clock, and the people were nice too. The location is fabulous, about 500 m from Marques de Pombal. But the kitchen was crowded and not very clean, and breakfast was a nightmare, even with good food and a good cook. It still feels like things are only halfway there. A little effort could make this much better.

Really nice hotel, with clean, attractive rooms, a good breakfast, and a great location. Plenty of power outlets too.

The staff were friendly, and the room was modern and very nice. Breakfast was okay as well. There was some humidity, though it wasn't a deal breaker.
