I was in Lisbon on a solo work trip and picked room 003 downstairs, the 'Small Double Room with Private Bathroom,' which seems to be the cheapest option. The bed was comfortable, the walk-in shower was good, and the kitchen was well equipped. Just remember to label anything you put in the fridge. The stay was well organized and the process was fully self-service, with attentive staff replying by message. Thank you, Helen. It isn't within easy walking distance of Lisbon's busiest neighborhoods, but Alvalade is about 10 minutes away on foot and has a nice local feel. Roma-Areeiro train station and Roma metro on the green line are both around a 12-minute walk.

We were very happy with our stay at Sk Lisboa Villa. It's a beautiful, spotless place, with lovely restaurants and shops nearby. Helen was so helpful and friendly, and gave us tips on getting around. We'll definitely stay at her place again when we're back in Lisbon.

The room was really comfortable, and the guesthouse is quite close to the airport. Helen, the property manager, was incredibly helpful and went out of her way to make my stay good. After a very long trip from abroad, I badly needed the early check-in she arranged for a small, reasonable fee.

The host was kind and helpful, and the room was cozy and very clean. It's about a 10-minute walk to Roma metro and the train station, handy for seeing the city or going to Sintra. There was free coffee and tea, plus an iron and board that were easy to use.

Such a disappointment. We arrived at 11 at night only to be told our prepaid reservation had been canceled, that they weren't expecting us, and that our money wouldn't be returned. We had to find somewhere else to stay, and it really spoiled the trip.
