The apartment was clean, with fresh sheets and towels, and there was a bottle of drinking water in the room. It's only a 5-10 minute walk to or from the airport, which worked perfectly for us. Soon after we booked, someone called to explain that we needed to call 30 minutes before arriving so they could let us in, and that a late arrival would cost an extra £10. Maria came to open up and show us around. Very happy with the stay.
My flight was delayed overnight, and I ended up in what was the worst hotel I've stayed in. It's advertised as a hotel, but it's really an Airbnb-style room in an apartment. There's no sign on the building, and I had to phone the owner to come open the apartment. It was 40 degrees C (104 F) with no air conditioning, and the shower pressure was poor. The usual rate is 100 euros a night, but with the Pope in town they charged 200 euros a night. It's a 10-minute walk from Lisbon airport, and they take advantage of travelers stranded there. Avoid it if you have a choice.
I wouldn't recommend this. It isn't a hotel, and you can be left waiting out on the street for ages for someone to come meet you.
I left my glasses and my yellow pocket glasses in the apartment's big room. Please let me know if you found them.
Dirty, noisy, and expensive. The worst hotel I've ever stayed in. They should call it Never Stay Hotel.
