Succeed Campo Pequeno Guesthouse

The floors could definitely use more cleaning. The place was otherwise fine, though the walls are pretty thin. That usually wasn't an issue, except for one evening and the following morning when our neighbors were having a good time and making sure everyone knew it.

Good value for the price. The rooms are basic, but clean, and the beds were okay. The toilet and shower are standard, nothing special, and clean too.

There’s a great communal kitchen with a full-size fridge, oven and cooktop, plus dishes, glasses and silverware. The hotel is also in a great spot, and the staff were fantastic. They recommended a restaurant right across the street. The rooms are small by the usual European standard, but comfortable and very clean. Highly recommend.

The shower soap dispenser fell down. Luckily no one was using the shower then, because it could have bruised a foot. The room was also a bit cold, and we couldn't get it much warmer with the AC, but they kindly gave us an extra blanket. We liked the clean room, comfy mattress, good location and friendly staff. The door had a gap underneath, so we could hear everything, especially the maids slamming doors in the morning. They did a great job cleaning, though. It also felt odd to be in Portugal and have reception staff who don't speak Portuguese.
