The Maverick Surfvillas

I was working remotely on my own at the Maverick, and it was just right. The office space is fantastic, and the yoga studio has incredible views. The staff were so kind and looked after everyone, even giving regular rides to the supermarket. After I checked out, I realized I’d left my Sunglasses in the room. They went out of their way to mail them back to me. This is easily the best value yoga and surf retreat I’ve been to if you want a calm, peaceful atmosphere. I’m looking forward to coming back!

The setting was beautiful, with the beach just a 10-minute drive away, and the Maverick made a perfect villa for a group holiday. We had a spacious place with a well-equipped kitchen and a great outdoor dining area, including a large BBQ and pizza oven. The pool and its view were amazing. We also got to use the mountain bikes and the yoga studio, which has a stunning view. The staff were relaxed, helpful, and attentive, and the bread service was a nice, easygoing touch. Big, big recommendation!! #fissatron

Such a brilliant holiday. The place is really pretty and rural, with a lovely infinity pool and landscaped grounds. The house was very clean, the atmosphere was good, and there’s a great yoga studio. They run a shuttle to the beach and supermarket every day. Recommended!

Even during Corona time, I booked the surf and yoga retreat on my own and never felt alone. The staff were friendly and amazing, and the other guests were lovely too. I enjoyed every minute of the vacation in those cozy villas, which were clean and safe and full of thoughtful little details. There was so much to do: surfing, yoga, slackline, pool, beach volleyball, skateboarding, basketball, bikes, and an outdoor gym. I’d never tried yoga before, but loved the sessions. Surfing was fun too, thanks Nuno! And the homemade pizza night was a favorite, thanks Jana, Fiona and Blanca for making the trip special. Best surfcamp, and I’ll definitely be back. :)
